A new idea for icon links

So, it's an interesting idea.
I don't specifically think their links are overpowered given that we pay high prices to have them.
Having said that, the idea to link them with the period to which they refer seems logical.
The only issue I see with that is that certain icons seem to be based off periods that could regroup two different clubs aka R9 at inter and Barca...?

That's a fair point. In that case you'd have to clearly define a year and team, kind of like they have for the flashback cards. Could lead to more total icons for someone that played at a lot of clubs.

Yeah, Aka Prime Icon Moments hahaha Don't give them bad ideas or we'll get 5-6 different icon cards per player haha. But it is a cool idea. Just like I would like flashback cards to ne specifically linked to the club the player was at at that moment (Liverpool Torres, PSG Ibra, etc) but then again, licensing and all

I don't think that's a good idea, it'll drive the prices of icons down. Which in turn would drive the prices of gold cards up i feel.

100% agree.
What's more i don't get it, why FB Ibra is a LA Galaxy Player as the SBC Title was "Earn a Flashback Ibrahimović celebrating his inclusion in Team of the Year 2014 " so he should be PSG then.
Each icon (baby,base,prime,optimus prime) should belong to the club he was joining in this era.
Baby Nedved: Sparta Prag
Mid Nedved: Lazio
Prime and OP: Juventus

I don’t think they can put flashbacks on teams that they don’t currently play for due to licensing....I have a feeling that may apply to icons too. Regardless, given how expensive (and relatively hard to obtain) icons are I don’t think they need a nerf on their chemistry
