Questions about adding a Libgdx game to Apple Store

Question

Hello everyone,

I'm interested in becoming an IOS developer. I've been doing Android development and originally built an app for google play store but they banned me without warning for "Deceptive Behavior". I guess because in the description of my game I mentioned my game was similar to "Helicopter" and "Doodle Jump". I guess somehow this is illegal. If I had known I would have just removed the references but I was not given a second chance. I put in thousands of hours of work and would like to showcase my app on some type of store at least for when I begin applying to jobs.

Has anyone else built an app using libgdx and was it an easy process to build the package and add the game to the IOS game store? I built my entire libgdx game in the "Core" java module so most of the work is done but I'm wondering how much build is typically required in the "IOS" module to get an app working for IOS? In android I was originally using the "Android" module for things like accessing a database, shared preferences or google play services, but I imagine doing the same using Apple's system would take a while, so I'm more just wondering what build would be required to release the core game itself, if any.

Thank you, I hope my question is clear. Also, is Apple as strict as Google in how they treat their developers? I do not think I want to continue to do android development (nor can I) knowing I can be perma-banned by a bully like Google without warning. I'm curious if Apple has similar no 2nd chance policies?

You should check the app store guidelines. Generally Apple are more strict than the Google Play reviews, so you must have really pissed them off to get kicked off of there. I'm surprised that you can't correct the error and re-release the app though.
