Hello,

I'm trying to familiarize myself with MVVM architecture and am a bit confused about what determines how many viewModels I should create. Does anyone know of any good open source projects with solid MVVM design that I could check out?

Thanks.

I would like to create an LLC. I'm a software developer and create apps and want to protect my personal assets. With that being said, I rarely live anywhere more than 1 year. I move around all the time and often work remotely so I don't have a stable, permanent address. What would be the appropriate way to do this? Can I file an LLC in any state and is there any state that offers LLCs particularly suitable for people who move around often?

Hi,

I'm a new developer thinking of switching from Android to iOS dev (got banned from google play store by accident, FML).
Has anyone else done this? Is the transition very difficult? Any tips? Should I start with Obj-C or Swift?

I currently only know Java well. Since I still have less than a year of Android dev experience I figure I might as well switch to iOS and be more careful and try not to get banned there :)

Thanks!

I did my first 100% speed sparring recently and sparred someone better than me who swarmed me with barrages of kicks and punches. I was shorter and smaller. I wasn't used to being aggressively rushed like this. All I could do in the moment was continue to keep my guard up and defend against the shots (while throwing a combo every once in a while) but still got caught with a couple good shots.

In this situation, since I'm shorter, do I pretty much have to aggressively throw back? Seems like if I just keep my guard up I'll get picked apart. What are my options here?

Hello, I have been teaching myself to code and am in the process of learning algo + data structures for interviews. I am a bit confused on what to do when several time complexities are added together.

For example, in a recent LeetCode problem I did, I solved the problem by first doing quickSort on an array (O(nLogn)), then I converted the array to an arrayList (O(n)), then I did a binary search on the array list and removed each element when I found it (I believe this is O(n^2 log n).. n for each element, log n for binary search and n for each removal).

So if my total time complexity is O(nlogn) + O(n) + O(n^2 logn), would the total time complexity just be O(n^2 logn) since it d

Holy hell. Never had an experience in my life even close to that intense before. I don't think I'll ever do it again. If I do, not for a long time. It's far too powerful of an experience to replicate regularly. Utter madness. Time didn't exist. Things seemed to repeat themselves infinitely. I completely melted together with the moment, whatever it was. I honestly thought I might be losing my mind at one point and I'd never escape this land of the absurd. As a matter of fact, I'm 100% certain that I lost my mind last night and found it again if that makes any sense. I'm very left brained and I like things to make sense and be defined in my life, and to be confronted face to face with thing

I am a newer developer who has been learning Android dev as well as general Java dev. I don't know much about web development so I can't build a portfolio site from scratch. Does it look bad when you apply for jobs with a template website that you didn't build from scratch? Is it worth it to learn how to build your own portfolio website or is my time better focused elsewhere? I'm not actually interested in Web Dev itself, more interested in mobile dev or general software engineering positions (preferably back-end).

Hello, I've been banned from the google play store without warning and my appeal was denied. I was banned for "Deceptive Behavior". I'm pretty sure it's because in my game description I mentioned that my gameplay was like a hybrid of "Helicopter" and "Doodle Jump". I would have gladly removed this from the description but was not given a 2nd chance. I genuinely was not trying to deceive anyone.

I just started learning software development 2 years ago and have worked thousands of hours to build 4 Android Apps. I have yet to get an official software dev job or apply for jobs.

Can any experienced devs or anyone involved in the hiring process help me with the following questions:

Hello everyone,

I'm interested in becoming an IOS developer. I've been doing Android development and originally built an app for google play store but they banned me without warning for "Deceptive Behavior". I guess because in the description of my game I mentioned my game was similar to "Helicopter" and "Doodle Jump". I guess somehow this is illegal. If I had known I would have just removed the references but I was not given a second chance. I put in thousands of hours of work and would like to showcase my app on some type of store at least for when I begin applying to jobs.

Has anyone else built an app using libgdx and was it an easy process to build the package and add the game
