She probably doesn't know how big was the scar he left in her mind. She probably just assumed she became an introvert with a little fear of men.

I feel like the one page per day format doesn't do the dramatic parts justice tbh...

Agreed. I think when reading daily it really diminishes the impact of dramatic/romantic/overall serious moments. When binging it's not that much of a difference though.

TBH, I will be so mad if she reconciles with the ex here even though the author is painting that the guy changed and all

I don't see what would lead you to think something like that could happen. If anything this strikes me as both of them finishing it off once and for all for real so they can all move on with their lives.
