I read it all a few hours ago...Dante...how could you let Cerberus die like that? You monster!
Poor Cerberus, get broken during a fight, and the Demon responsible fo that makes a pact with Dante seconds later.
That's why he should have came correct with Agni and Rudra.
Holy shit? ART WARKS IS CANON!
Poor Cerberus, I knew him well.
Actually King Cerberus might just be Cerberus back for revenge.
Honestly, I hope it is. Dante has this boss fight coming
V confirmed to be cinnamon roll q-q
I love everything I’ve seen of V.
Awesome love the backstory on balrog
RIP Platinum's sanity
Poor Lucia. Q_Q
So Lucia is Claire Redfield, Matier is Chris Redfield, Dante is Leon, and Trish is Ada Wong. Got it.
"Dante, fuck my kind-of-but-not-really daughter!" - Matier, probably
.... MotHeRrr

So... it sounds like Nell Goldstein is not really Nico's grandmother. She's not related to her by blood but her Uncle Rock, Nell's son, is her mother's (Alyssa Martin) half-brother.
And Rock, Alyssa, and Agnus all worked for Uroboros Corporation at one point or another.
You can even call me bitch oh nico
Holy shit! Angus is her father. Does that mean, her SANITY is the price to pay for POWER? Or is she really gonna to be a bit irked when she finds out that Dante killed him in the most hammy way possible?

Thought that would be the case regarding Sparda and the twins. Sword lessons is interesting and i do wonder if they were both taught the same style(complete with the badass sparda kick) or he purposely taught them different onces.

The how did Dante escape hell bit is a bit disappointing. Always thought he beat up hell so badly that they kicked him out because they could not handle him wrecking all of their stuff. The man must have stank of demon guts by that point.

Poor Lucia. Dante kinda sucks when it comes to women. He is the legendary demon hunter that lives on pizza, hamming it up, being cocky *three hours later* one time, he rode a bike up a tower and so forth... but when it comes to women, he seems to suck.

Dante doesn't give a shit about demons. I'm a bit surprised as i thought he would somewhat care, only because of how much fun he had. Yep, Dante is shitting all over DMC2 and it is glorious.

Ha, Dante still hates talking weapons.

I won't give my thoughts on everything as it would be a bit of a large post.
I don't think he was shitting on dmc2 specifically but in all Demons in general besides Mundus
I know but i like to think he is aware of how bad DMC2 is and is going semi-deadpool on us.
Unpopular opinion but I'm glad Dante "freindzoned" /denied Lucia. I like that he hasn't chosen to be with Trish (which to me has always been SUPER odd. Takes the whole scientific theory of finding traits similar to your parents in your mates to a new level ) and Lady (though one could say he probably tried). This is just me though.
And RIP Cerberus 😢
Also my heart goes out to all the backstory! Nico is amazing and I dare say she is my fave! She's the first of the DMC Girls I personally can say that about. Dante still helping out Grue's girls!! My heart bursted at that still being canon. V is still mysterious and can't wait to learn more about him. He's definitely going to be a fun character.
Dante is likely afraid, subconsciously at least, of getting close to people due to his mother's death. Vergil chased after power due to his trauma, while Dante pushes people away. I still have hope that Lucia could have more of a chance in the future, but after he has come to accept letting people get close. Yes, not everyone is going to be Nero/Trish/Lucia and Vergil's corruption was proof that even his own blood isn't invulnerable from beings like Mundus. But that doesn't mean he has to keep to himself, he can live a full life like his father did after the sealings he (Sparda) did.
Lucia just makes the most sense to me. Lady was always more friendly than flirty, Trish is a bit too...Oedipus, Patty is too young, and Lucia would be able to hold her own while offering a potential contrast for Dante to have compared to Vergil, who seemingly had some affection for a human woman.
I can defintely see that about Dante. I can also respect and can see with your logic that if he was going to choose which DMC girl to be with, Lucia wouldn't be bad choice.
Its why I mention my opinion is not popular :) Its just for me personally, if something wasn't wholly established or given much growth I see no reason why he would have to choose any of them (though I suppose this can be argued such as " adrenaline or survival mode kicks in and creates a bond between insert any dmc girl here so that's why he needs to choose between them). I'd be fine if he settled down eventually like Sparda did as well he absolutely deserves that!, but with someone else maybe. Just my thoughts is all :)
No worries, just stupid shipping stuff heh, not like it actually matters. Just simply for fun/preference.

I’m feeling motivated after reading this.
That intermission chapter...
And I'm already incredible charmed by V's whole character from his awesome introduction here. Really looking forward to see how all of this will play out in the end!
