Planck Rev 6.1: hot swap socket and pads came off

I got my new Rev 6.1 Planck today. However, when inserting the switches, one of the hotswap sockets came off, along with the pads that it was adhered to (I can see fiberglass where the pads lifted off). The bigger problem is that the traces leading to the pads were severed when the pads came off. Is there a way to fix this short of running jumper wires to the through-hole Matias switch pads?

Jack, assuming there is not a good fix for this, is it possible to exchange the PCB for an undamaged one? I'm a bit worried that more of the sockets may pop off.

youll need to RMA the PCB, you could work to fix this but since the pad lifted off, its too much work to repair.

I'm not really sure I can cover this under an RMA. It's possible for this to happen if the switch's pins are bent and it's forced into the socket - can you tell if that happened here?

The pins were not bent (even after the socket came off) and the switch went straight in without having to force it.

Ah gotcha - I can probably cover it in that case. Do the socket's holes look ok? Curious if that's defective.

The holes in the socket look ok to me. Judging from how it looks where the pads came off, it seems like it was maybe an adhesive problem. Not sure, though.

Here’s a picture of the socket and the lifted pads: https://imgur.com/a/GeVBsqw/

Will you be able to RMA it? If so, what do I need to do with the old one?
