Hi all,
I absolutely love this game, but the samurai/ ninja style just doesn't work for me with a post apocalyptic robot/alien world.
Can you recommend some armor and weapons mods perhaps to undo some of that styling?
Much respect to the devs...and no hate towards anyone who enjoys the style.

This mod adds a bunch of european medieval weapons and armory and distributes in the world.

The referenced mod is probably the best one. But there are other mods that add alternate weapons & integrate them into the game. You probably can't eliminate ninjas completely unless you want to go into the FCS and replace every instance of the word "ninja" with "dude in pajamas."
Having said that, if you do manage to do that, please post it on the Steam Workshop because that would be an amazing mod!! XD
Haha nice. If I had to pick 2 things, it'd be the Oriental flat hats and the wooden clogs that annoy me most so I think some armor mods are in order
You could just join the Holy Nation and wage war against these sinful Weeboos to the east.
You can focus on chain mail and holy armors and not train with katanas if it bothers you that much.
In the mean time I’ll try not to have a weeb rage over your heresy.

I hear you. Again, I'm not trying to tear down this game, just looking to re style the visuals to my personal preference.
That, or I'll do a skeleton run and destroy all humans wearing funny hats and wooden shoes
I don’t really mind it when I consider the world. There have been many books and shows that explored the idea that the world would revert to medieval ways after the apocalypse. This seems to be exactly what happened on Kenshi, except in an eastern culture. It’s like post apocalyptic Japan on a different planet. I think it makes a lot of sense.

As far as I know there are a few scattered mods here and there. They add western armors, shields, and weapons, but none that change or remove existing ones. You’d basically be the only medieval knight in an eastern land
