Intel doesn't know how to deal with AMD and it is hilarious
Cant wait to see the performance regression of the latest security bug.
Intel has lost.. what? 5% in some things and up to 40% in others?
Beats me. All I know is that I can't wait to see Linus hype it up.
And so far it's been very entertaining.
They have been throwing everything they can at the wall and praying it'll stick. The price table they have in the link is just sickening.
I didn't even catch the price table! That has to be a miss on the editors part, because it is freaking hilarious: Arm, Leg, Foot, Kidney.
I didn't even see that price table! I was looking at where an 8280 is 10 grand. My 8350 cost way less than that.
3.8Ghz Turbo is for single core I assume?
Yeah 400w
But 56c 4ghz its insane
Amd need to do the same , a 64c with 32x2
on 2600mhz ... ROFL MEGAROFL intel is in rekt

Epyc has to compete against this garbage.

This release is a direct result of Epyc Rome release this year.

Copying my comment from r/amd_stock - 400W TDP for the 56 Core CPU... AND it's soldered on the board... AND it requires water cooling. Water cooling in the DC, smh, ridiculous. If those points weren't crazy enough, it doesn't even have the PCIe lane availability of Epyc Rome at 80 lanes vs. 128 on the AMD CPU. I'm sure some crazy bastards will order this thing because it's Intel, but seriously this shows serious panic on Intel's part. Also, their slide highlights "Fastest Ramp in History!" Marketing-speak translation: "We shipped this thing out the door as fast as we could with duct tape and baling wire!"
