Shock Ammo does DoT to robotic enemies
I just stumbled upon this today, and didn't see any other posts about it so my apologies if it's already been talked about to death.
So, shock ammo - it always bugs me that it doesn't do damage over time to human enemies, but... it does to robotics! Warhounds (Big Dogs) and mini-tanks will suffer the same ratio of DoT (it looks like, anyways; roughly 8-10%) from shock ammo as how bleed works on human enemies. This damage is applied directly to health regardless of whether or not you've cracked the Warhound's armour.
Not gonna change your life, but another tool in the arsenal. Enjoy!

I think special ammo is underated.. when im in a group I purposely use shock or fire ammo fot crowd control .. i switch to my mk17 before i load the ammo and bam its makes a hell of a difference especially with the tanks just pop em once with shock and repeat until youf team mates have nailed him.
Thanks for the tip with the robotics though. Hadn’t thought of this.
