Because it’s ridiculous.

There's no inconsistency between the lividity and burial position. But it is a fun scenario, I guess.
How can there be frontal lividity if she’s on her side the entire time?
She's not on her side. The burial photos show this. It's why they drew back in Dr. H's affidavit filed with court and didn't even mention the photos she had previously been supposedly been shown.
She had to pick up her cousin and Don was working. Even if Don wasn't working, hard to imagine she'd agree to rendezvous at a hotel given her time constraints.
She and Adnan went there for sex after school and before she picked up her cousin. They showed a receipt on the HBO special. Don wanted Hae to call in sick from school on the 13th and he was going to make the call for her. So he was scheduled to be off all day. This last minute fill in at the other store location sounds contrived. He had a second employee ID number at that store which was against company policy
No, no, no. They would have sex at a secluded spot in the Best Buy parking lot after school. A quickie. The same spot where she was strangled. The motel was some other time.
The HBO's documentary's own detectives confirmed Don's alibi in a Wall Street Journal article right after the first episode. Get your facts straight.
There is a motel receipt in the documentation somewhere. Like I said, on HBO it was for 2:53pm
Are you unable to click on reddit links? I just replied to you with a link to that day on the timeline. Here is the receipt.
This was a month before Hae and Don started dating. The receipt you saw was for a time that Adnan and Hae used a motel room. Adnan and Don did not need to use motels.
If HBO led you to believe that Hae and Don used that room in November, you were misled. Hae's diary indicates that she and Don did not have a first date until January 1. And that Adnan and Hae were together at the end of November.
If you're coming up with theories to fit the narrative spun by the HBO documentary, you're facing a losing battle. The "documentary" was a propaganda piece not based on evidence, so it's kinda pointless to come up with scenarios that align with their presentation.

That's a receipt for Adnan and Hae being at a motel. No evidence that Don and Hae ever went to a motel. No evidence for this either, but it does appear that Hae and Don could have sex at this house. No need for a motel.
There’s a receipt shown on HBO signed by Hae Lee at 2:53pm on 11/25/98 at the Sleep Inn 6780 Security Boulevard in Woodlawn
You can also find it on this timeline. Just scroll to November 25, and click on the receipt. This is over a month before Hae and Don's first date. That receipt is from a time that Adnan and Hae used a motel. Not Don and Hae.
Don was at work.
Jay knew where the car was.

Leaves body face down for 8 hours which explains lividity
The cell-tower evidence helps to prove where the murder event took place by ruling out where it couldn't have happened; "lividity" evidence has no direct and very little indirect bearing on the where of it.
Syed's brand-new cell phone was making and receiving phone calls. The calls pinged cell-towers. Although the pings don't establish the precise location where Syed was making/receiving calls, the pings DO rule-out or prove where he was not located

I think jay was more involved in the lead up.

Well see, nice script but this isn't Murder She Wrote, it's reality so evidence matters.
My scenario explains how the body could have been left face down for 8 hours as would have been required for the frontal lividity. It also postulates a precipitating event leading to such a violent action on Adnan’s part If Jay helped load the body in the trunk around midnight, he would be much more culpable than he is letting on with the story of the “trunk pop”
Where to begin? Oh yeah, if you've been following closely for the last four years you would know Adnan hates walking anywhere. This is an indisputable fact. Back me up on this Redditers. /s
Which motel was it again? How did Adnan know to go there? Was it within walking distance? Don was at work all afternoon so how could he have been at the motel?. How did they sneak the body out of the motel? Why were Adnan's fingerprints on floral paper in the back of Hae's car? Hae had to pick up her cousin soon after leaving school, did it really make sense to rent a motel room? Wouldn't it have made more sense just to leave the body at the motel and thereby pin the murder on Don? Questions, questions. We need answers, answers.
The lividity evidence has been debated endlessly without conclusive agreement.
