Pianka is the third person, I believe, confirmed to work on the movie, after IJQ and Alonso Ramirez Ramos (Gravity Falls, Mickey Mouse), whose own LinkedIn credits as Co Executive Producer.
This also gives us a time scale. They were boarding in late 2017, early 2018. That probably means the cast recorded around that period. Which roughly lines up with all the Sunmin people showing up last fall with their million stacks of hand-animated pages. (We know they animate on paper over there.) So presumably since the fall what they've been doing, as far as the movie is concerned, is coloring and editing and polishing off the animation they've been handed.
Which also lines up with a rough fall 2019 air date.
EDIT: Obvious I hope, but I should say it's safe to assume there are many other storyboarders on the movie. It's just that Pianka is the first we know about.
Where did you hear Alonso Ramirez Ramos was working on this?
First, about a month ago in an article about a con that he's paneling. But you can confirm it on his LinkedIn too.
