Ok the lad(Openda) wasn't getting to the ball but that foul is as blatant as it could get, what's the justification for this? Does Van Damme have nudes on the officials?
Sheer incompetence, however with such consistency and frequency one could suspect malice.

This penalty was given by the same VAR, which later turned out the referees didn't even know the proper rules.
Both of the assistant-VARs have been known to have posted anti-Club Brugge messages on social media in the past. The actual VAR was once under investigation for matchfixing in Anderlecht's advantage, Club's biggest rival.

When was this? All I heard was Duchatelet yelling there was matchfixing in regards to games with Anderlecht, but not about an actual investigation.
Zheyun Ye investigation.
Ah, because with the way you phrased it, I read it as Anderlecht did it,.
The refereeing is a joke in both belgian leagues 1A and 1B lol
The match ended in a 0-0 draw, which means Club Brugge is now 6 points behind Racing Genk, who are in first. This decision could very well decide the title race.
WTF
Wait, the offender's name is actually van Damme? I thought it was a joke about the knock in reference to the belgian actor.
Isn't that even a red? He has the ball, he assaulted the guy for free.

Fully looks at the player with no intention to play the ball. Can't imagine why this isn't a penalty.
He's Van Damme though, there's special considerations due to his powers.
