Thank you for the reply. You think the dealership would have looked when they replaced the U joints. I'll strap a Go-pro down there and go for a rip.

Could be a number of things. Steering gear, drag link, track bar and lower steering shaft come to mind. Have someone move the wheel and look for any play in those areas.

2015 JK (50k miles) with a "lumpy" steering problem. 

I took it into the dealership, and they replaced the U joints. Worked great.... for two weeks. 

The steering is stiff at center, then it loosens, then stiffens up again at about 60% turn. Loose to 100%. 

Any ideas?
