Starting 30 day water fast today.

Currently 24 hours in. Have done a 7 day water only fast in the past (about a year ago). I am currently 205 lbs/5 "10 and am looking to aim for 30 days for the goal of weight loss with reduced loose skin. I am going to be trying to take a multi vitamin on the daily, but I remember having bad acid reflux during my last prolonged fast. I have a sublingual B complex if the multivitamin doesn't work out and am planning on taking tsp salt 2/3 times a day for electrolytes. I'm considering apple cider vinegar at night for the reflux. Will make updates if people are curious.

If you’ve done a seven day fast, you know what you are doing.

I’ve never broken 48 hours.

Bon voyage!

Don't bother with the multivitamin. You don't need it and it will wreck your stomach once it's really empty. I'm rounding the corner of 28 days and decided to take one the other day when I felt a little shitty. I ended up horribly purging water out my ass and having horrible stomach pain for almost 2 days. You're gonna need potassium too. Get litesalt or nosalt at the grocery store. Consider making snake juice, it's what a lot of people use when going extended. nice man, i'll use this for sure. Yeah, I wouldn't take the multivitamin sporadically. I know some people on the really long fasts take them, but i think they were taking them since day 1 so it affects them a little more kindly. But yeah, will prob just use the sublingual B vit. Damn that sucks; how long are you going for? That's a bit of a hiccup

It was really the only time I felt bad. In the beginning, day 7-12 or so I wasn't drinking enough snake juice. So I felt pretty tired all the time and had some cramps. But after I got the snake juice right I started feeling great. I still feel great besides the random hunger. Your fat is full of vitamins and minerals so unless you're already thin, you should be fine with just snake juice. I'm trying to go for 90 days. I've lost a little over 50lbs in the first month and I'd really like to go as long as I can. If I can make 90 I might continue. I'm moving across the country at the end of the summer so I might end it before I leave. You can do it though. Just know now, your will power will be tested. Once you get into the twenties some days are hard. Really hard. Keep yourself busy as much as you can and it helps. I do hikes with my dog, or walk her pretty much anytime I have down time in the daylight. Then I've been pounding through movies and TV series like crazy at night. Good luck. 👍👍

Thanks dude. I'm taking medical school classes atm and trying to finish strong. I am a bit worried about mental fog or something like that, but I'm going to look to push through it either way. GL with the 90 journey sounds like quite the challenge. That's pretty cool that you're still able to be that active with hiking. 50 lbs is pretty incredible in one month. I've heard of people losing between 30-55, but yeah it's quite a bit. I am looking to potentially go a bit past 30 days, likely looking to stop when I'm around 150 lbs.

That's great. I finished school this winter and am not working right now while I take care of some estate stuff for my grandfather. I don't know if I could handle fasting while doing all that. That being said, I do feel like my mind is fairly clear. I'm not using my brain as much as I was for school, but I'm still trying to organize selling a house while finding a new job, and deciding where in the US I'd like to live. Hopefully you won't get too much brain fog. Sounds like you've got it figured out though. It also sounds like I have a lot more weight to lose than you, which probably explains my high number. If I could lose another 75 in 2 months I'd be happy. And then I plan to do one meal every 72 hours until I'm like 190. Wish you the best. Congrats on school keep it up.
