I was thinking of Adam Young from that tv show
Good Omens?
Nah, the one where the 15 year old kid teaches a class
Mr. Young
Same
Oh my gosh, I'm not the only one who remembers!
It has like three seasons and all three are so cringe, yet so perfect
Three? I thought it was two. Of course, it was a while ago, so I'm not sure.
I rewatched it on Netflix (it might still be there) and I think there was three
Me too. I felt like I'd forgotten some important detail about his mom or something lol
Not gonna lie I thought they were talking about Owl City and I was very confused
I didn’t notice the Young and thought they were talking about Adam Sandler
is meatball an fruit
Honestly the idea that someone would consider Adam Young, wholesome squirrel lover and upbeat songwriter, to be the antichrist is so freaking hilarious to me. It almost feels as absurd as the plots to some of his songs. Like, there's a whole song about how there are angels sneaking around his house that could take on a whole new meaning through this lens and it cracks me up.
What makes it even better is that Adam in the book is also super wholesome. He just likes to chill and play with his friends. The demons had a specific plan for his upbringing but there was a mixup and he ended up being raised in a normal British village, and so as a result he's just a normal kid who also happens to be the antichrist.
"He's not good or evil. He's human."
