Free Agency Round 2

Starting at 4PM, teams can sign free agents without it counting against compensatory picks. It may explain why some bigger name free agents (Suh, Ansah, Tre Boston, Jay Ajayi, Muhammad Wilkerson, etc.) are still on the market. Do you expect or want the Saints to target anyone?

It shouldn't affect us since we weren't getting a comp pick in 2020. We spent way more than we lost. The Cook deal pretty much ended any chance of a comp pick.

Saints don't bother with comp picks. If they were serious about any of those guys, they likely would have been signed. If any of their asking price goes down though, I could see any of those D-Lineman being super useful

Why can't you guys use UTC+/-? Well it's 12 in whatever time zone they announced it.

It's been a couple of years that our FO fill the holes with Free Agents and just try to find talent on the Draft.

So I think we are done

I think we may be done and they’re probably confident based on how the draft went for us (literally BPA).

However I will say adding suh, Wilkerson, or if the bucs somehow retardedly cut Mccoy that would be where I’d be looking at pass rushers (interior)

Ansah I’m not completely sold on, I know a lot of people are hyped about him, but I just feel Patricia and Detroit not even giving you a prove it deal when they desperately need pass rushers, even with signing flowers says a lot to me. Also the fact a lot of teams desperate for pass rushers passing on him due to the injury factor tells me there’s more obviously to his situation. Now wether that’s people waiting till mays new year who knows
