I created r/redditrefugees, a place where users of banned communities can reorganize before leaving Reddit. With how things are going, that will include most of us before long.

Great idea for a sub OP, this surely will become even more and more handy in time
Until it's banned.
Then we will need a sub for refugees of other sub refugees, resulting in its ban, resulting in the need for a sub for refugees of the other sub refugees, that will once again result in another ban/new sub cycle, that will result in another cycle and so on......
It will be a nice game to play with the admins and given how much people were exited by the " He will not divide us " game back in 2016, I think people would love to play it.
Should have been r/redfuges
You are encouraging admins/mods to kick you out if you guys admit defeat like this
There’s literally no point in trying to stop it. All we end up doing is forcing ourselves to temper our speech for temporary safety.

Already did
We must ban everything that hurts my Democratic feels. I can't handle the anxiety of knowing people disagree with me.
And they wonder why we call them snowflakes.
Get around it fellas
Unfortunately the admins will have your sub banned in no time. They ban any subs they consider "ban evasion".
Good job
awesome idea
Thanks
Snapshots:
A place for all the retarded users from shitty subs to congregate? no thanks
Read the sub sidebar, it’s just for them to organize before their exodus
It is good then, the sooner they fuck off the better, open one for the donald, maybe they leave
lmao imagine caring so much about a subreddit you don’t even use or even SEE as i never comes up on popular or rising.
It's got everything but your dumb face in the header.
Care to contribute a picture?
unless there's some great ones im forgetting about, all of the banned communities were subredditcancer
I don't really understand the point of the sub? All the extremists who had their subs banned will just end up there? Like the incels, homophobes, racists, sexists, etc.
The sub's intention is not to act as a replacement or home for these people, but simply direct them and let them organize their exodus to other platforms. I will try to keep the sub relatively civil.
A subreddit actively telling people to leave reddit is going to last a whole 4 days
community for 6 years
community for 3 years
community for 6 years
Shouldn't the admins be happy that the "bad" people are organizing to leave reddit?
They won’t them to stay, but they don’t want lower ad revenue from the bad people sub. They want the bad people to go on r/funny.
Is that what he said? So creating another platform = leaving Reddit?
You think the admins care about technically? If it promotes less ad revenue they don’t like it.
incels, homophobes, racists, sexists need a place to speak aswell. Silencing theses groups isn't a good idea.
No, it is a good idea. The more their speech is suppressed, the more they feel oppressed and outnumbered. The more they feel oppressed and outnumbered, the more they feel like they have no agency and nothing they say or do online can change anything. The more they feel like they have no options, the more likely they are to become radicalized. It only takes a small group of violent radicals to instigate a real rebellion. It's about time for a rebellion.
Seems like a good idea to me? If they want a place to speak they can all gather at 4PM in the abandoned church and sit in a circle around the swastika holding hands and ranting about f*gs and jews and n****rs and SJWs all they want.

And become radicalized irl
That seems to be the point.
Something like this existed before and was banned. r/bannedbase
Hm, do you know why? Remember, my intention is not to become their new home, but just a logistical effort.
That's the same thing that they said. Still got banned.
Damn, I'll just have to be extra careful then. Not going to shut the sub down now.
Why are mods such faggots on this platform? What is the endgame in banning people for no reason and then banning a sub for people that were banned?
[removed]
Because different opinions hurt their feelings
Probably because it was subreddit ban evasion
