Did you grow up to be what you wanted to grow up to be?

No. Not really. Honestly, I thought that if I studied well and worked hard enough, I can get what I want. But there were plenty of things I missed out, like creating a network of people that revolve around your choice of career as well as starting in that industry no matter how low your position is.
I wanted to be a good Accountant but now I'm a security guard and I deliver newspapers at night.
I'm not completely "grown up" yet, but it seems very possible that my plans for life will not pan out.

Same
Why’s that?
I'm in the fourth year of my CS degree, with one more year to go. I haven't completed the milestones that I should have at this point. By now I should have some internship or research experience under my belt, but I don't. I also don't have any relationships with professors or professionals in the field, so no references to put on my resume. My work history is also slim because I've been focused on going to school and dealing with personal issues (also why I'll take 5 years to finish). The odds are stacked against me if I don't start making some changes, but I try to have faith that there is still time for that. My GPA is good so there's that.

If 20 years is considered enough then no. I am a complete failure and want to cease existence

I never planned on being anything, and I'm nothing, so I guess so? Still room to grow, yet still no aspirations whatsoever.
I always wished I would grow up to be a woman, instead of a man. I totally achieved that goal!
Also, I dreamed of being an architect, and I’ve almost graduated art school for product design (which is basically the architecture of consumer goods)
No. But that's perfectly OK.
I'm pretty darn happy with the way it all went.
Can't complain.
Yes.. better in fact:)
I wanted to be an engineer or physicist when I was younger. I’m in medical school at the moment, so not exactly.

Yes, but not quite the way I planned, nor is my job or marriage what I thought it would be.
