Know someone that used Kumon, didn't hear anything bad about it and they kept doing it for quite a while.

His maths teacher may be able to recommend a tutor. When I was at school some teachers would refer students to older students that were offering tutoring. Some teachers were happy to do some extra tutoring too.

You could try learning/teaching with him via Khan academy. It is very good for maths.

My son attends Rangitoto and is struggling with year 11 maths.  I have decided he needs a tutor.
