Was on all journal entries run. I already had logged the journal entry for plasma cannon (I took the alien queen’s one for a ride). I didn’t have the entry for the freeze ray or, more importantly, the magma man. You can see at the end of the video I take out a magma man by icing it. Magma man is one of the trickiest entries in an AJE run because the only ways to log it are to icegun it or die to it.
Now as it turns out this AJE run was busted when I let vlad kill himself rather than doing the deed myself. But at the time, for what was my personal-best-pace AJE run, the ice hun was the right play.

The best possible place you could find the plasma cannon to be honest. If I mess up early in a run and can't get to hell anymore I often continue anyway, just to take the plasma cannon to olmec and shoot the place up.

Yeah, if playing for score, the best place for a crate cannon is 4-2. Open the golden door, then go get the cannon, raze+ghost 4-2, then do the same in 4-3CoG.

Holy shit! I've played this game literally for like 7 years and haven't found a single cannon in a crate!

On an eventually-busted all journal entries run last night I had this Olmec room. 8 crate attic. The odds of any one crate being a plasma cannon are said to be 1 in 10,000. So the odds of any set of 8 crates having two plasma cannons? Someone more confident in their math than me gave it as around 1 in 4 million.
