Something I haven’t seen discussed … when it’s early ish game and you haven’t really committed anywhere and you have a Tarot or similar to use … what ‘default’ tendencies do you have?

For me, cards I want to hold in hand (Steel, Gold, Blue Seal) I drop on black 7s, 9, 10s. High enough that if I get a Raised Fist I’m not forced to hold a low card. Black because Blackboard makes holding-black more rewarding than holding-red. And avoiding 8s because I love me some Fibonacci.

Glass Polychrome Mult Holo and red seal, I tend to aim at face cards - those are the ones likely to get hit with the retriggers like Chad and Sock. Maybe I’ll default sending Foil/Bonus/Lucky/GoldSeal that way too bu

I was stuck trying to get my first Orange Stake win for about a week, but finally had that breakthrough win earlier this evening.

Didn’t even think I was going to play again tonight, was planning to take a break on top after the Orange win. But as the Oilers-Stars game entered first intermission I figured I’d give Gold Stake a spin. After a couple of very quickly abandoned false starts (yeah, when I choose a free poly joker tag but that joker is a perishable rental? Restart.) I got a promising one.

I’ve been doing Checkered deck first - what can I say I’m a fool for flushes. Got a holo Golden Joker from my first tag, and my first Spectral pack had an Ankh so … twin holo Golden Jokers

Shortly after season 1 of “The Sandman”, there was a surprise dropped - two mini episodes of tangential supplemental material not specifically about the main cast and plot.

It makes me wonder about Yellowjackets - we already knew they had a planned tangential supplemental episode starring Jason Ritter as Cabin Daddy. Maybe they just didn’t have enough material to make a full compelling episode. They needed more.

We also know that Evans Johnson was announced as having been cast for something in Yellowjackets - but now the season is over and we still haven’t seen her.

We’ve also seen footage that included a clothesline in the woods that had a blue shirt with the name “ERIK” on it. To th

“Valentine (Extended)” showed up in my Spotify feed as an EP.

4 tracks:

“Love of Mine” - a 54 second instrumental variation on the melody of Valentine

“Valentine - Extended” - a 4:59 version of “Valentine” (the album original is 4:33)

“Valentine - Instrumental” - also 4:59, so likely just a vocals-suppressed mix of the above.

“Valentine - Demo” - a minimal-instrumentation early variation, just acoustic guitar and layered vocals. 3:58 .

I’m watching the Commanders Lions game on Fox tonight, and there was a promo spot saying their show “Extracted” will be after the Super Bowl. Until very-recently, The Floor had been scheduled to be the Super Bowl lead-out (after it bumped Rescue Hi-Surf from that slot), and Extracted was slotted for the next day.

After this spot … I think The Floor has been bumped. I’m not sure when it’s been bumped to - but it doesn’t seem to be Fox’s Super Bowl lead out anymore.

I’ve seen a bit of an inconsistency, at least between seasons 1 and 2, as to whether, when the answer is a person, saying their last name alone is adequate. In the season 1 final duel “Fashion Icons” they clearly allowed that (Wintour, Delevigne, Graham, Moss all allowed). In the Female Athletes category this past week, they didn’t accept Ledecky and the contestant had to go back and say the full name Katie Ledecky to be awarded the successful guess.

Any idea if this was a change between seasons? A specific limitation for certain duels/categories that the contestants are told in detail off camera? Or just random game judge discretion?

I'm trying to figure out how they can logically make such Vampire and Werewolf centric sets as to be set-defining tribes, and still provide environments that are reasonably balanced across all five colors (as they've aimed to do since... Torment?) ... when most notably Blue has been historically indifferent to those tribes. Are they going to lore some plane changing event that redefines the tribes so as to introduce blue-lineage Werewolves and Vampires? Or will Blue just be kinda stuffed into supporting roles and support while really being left out of the 'main story'?

I'm wondering a little bit about color balance in Strixhaven for similar reasons. Sure, every color has wizards. But

People tend to like to be told about those dailies that have early crate Plasma cannons, because they're so rare. In fact on the Steam edition, they're seemingly absolutely nonexistent - something about the Steam Daily seed generation reduces the crate PC likelihood from "exceedingly rare" as they are in nondailies, to "absolutely impossible" in Steam dailies.

On the PS, Plasma Cannons can be in crates on dailies. However, there's another deviation between steam and PS dailies that throws a wrench in things. PS dailies from player to player only 'match' level generation until you enter a level with a shop after aggro'ing shoppies. The first time you enter a level that has a shop, that l

I did this about a month ago (they have these 20x points days about once a month now) to get over $100 back on my Switch purchase.

The "PC Optimum" points program is usually like a 1.5% rebate on your purchases - you normally get 15 points per dollar spent and you can redeem 10,000 points for $10 in merchandise at any Shoppers Drug Mart / Loblaws family store. But occasionally they have these days where you get 20x the usual number of points on any over-$50 purchase (so 300 points per dollar spent, resulting in 30,000 points per hundred, or

I bought a new SN30 last night and have set about trying to downgrade the firmware to a legacy set. I've found the firmware and the updater... but all the instructions I see about installing it tell me to hold L+R+Start 3 seconds and the blue and green LEDs will flash letting you know you're in update mode (then you connect the USB...). Well all I ever get to flash that way is red. Have never seen blue-green flash. Unsurprisingly, the updater software does not detect it being in firmware update mode.

I'm wondering if the current model available at retail now don't allow the boot-to-firmware-update sequence that older models did. Or if it's had some undocumented change and there's now a
