They are building one on the Las Vegas strip. Not sure of the exact location but somewhere on the south strip. It will be closed every Sunday.

This title makes no sense

Is it just me or is Chik-Fil-A pretty overrated? I mean it’s good, but I don’t get why some people go bonkers over it.
Can you name a better fast food chicken sandwich?
Wendys
Totally disagree, but to each their own
I do like Chick-Fil-A's too though. I'd say they are the two best. Didn't Chick-Fil-A not have bacon until a few years ago? I think that tainted my opinion
Wendy's actually makes a really good chicken sandwich. I prefer CFA, but I definitely wouldn't down-vote you for this opinion.
Their spicy chicken is ok, but they're still just dropping a frozen chicken puck into the fryer and it shows.
CFA brines their chicken and then hand bread all of it fresh in the store. The difference in quality is huge.
Lmfao
Bojangles.
Zaxbys.
Cook-Out.
Why?
They’re actually crispy. Chick Fil A is sort of soggy
This dude said Zaxby's.
None of those places have the geographical reach that CFA does. I’ve never experienced any of those on the west coast
I have access to all of them and I still prefer CFA. CFA is far closer to something you'd get if you made a fried chicken sandwich at home. The stores you listed all do have good chicken sandwiches, but I personally don't think they even compare to CFA in overall quality.
I have none of those places within 300 miles and about 1000 chick fil as in the same radius
Lmao, do you really think that CFA designer a soggy sandwich... or maybe your location just gave you a bad sandwich?
I totally agree! All of the ones in my area are always packed and I don’t understand why. I mean, the food is fine and what not but it isn’t anything special.
u/HeightPrivilege summed it up pretty well:
It's quality but you're not going to be blown away.
It's also a situation where the sum of the parts is greater than they are individually. The chicken sandwich is good, the fries are good, the sauce selection is huge, the employees are friendly, the place is always clean, you have multiple options for sides, the list goes on and on.
Nothing spectacular but put it all together and there's nothing letting you down which elevates the place in the sphere of fast food restaurants where there's always something lacking.
This is basically it, and why it's #1 for me. In n Out doesn't trail far behind though. Canes probably next.
Also, many of the people who go nuts over Chick-fil-a are Christians who have embraced it as “their” restaurant, like it’s the only company with an owner who donates to Christian political groups
Lmao no... it’s just good
I couldn't be further from a religious person but I can recognize they make a good sandwich.

Most of the other major fast food chains are publicly traded. If you run a private company you can do whatever the hell you want with your money.

People literally line up onto the highway at the Chick Fil A near me. It drives me crazy that someone saw the line was that long and thought "it's ok. I'll just stop here.", and then someone came behind them and said "me too." Next thing you know there is a traffic jam on a main road because of the entitlement of a few people.
How is that entitlement?
Stopping traffic on the highway instead of parking your car and going inside is entitlement.
I know, it’s just chicken and fries.
I agree, definitely seems overrated. It is good, but not that good. I enjoy chicken sandwiches from Wendy's and Bojangles just as much and it is much less of a hassle. The service is always good, but they are always crowded and for whatever reason it doesn't keep me as full as other spots do.
On top of that, it also hurts a little giving them money knowing where the company regularly donates to.
It's just you. While they practice some questionable behavior relating to the founding family's religion their food is consistently very good.
I’m wondering the same thing. To me the chicken crust is soggy.
Order it well done it’s a game changer
You are wrong.

I have one in my city, but it's always busy so I've never been. I did get to try the fries once. Nothing special, but they were good.
Most Chick-fil-a's accept mobile orders now, so you can order from the office or home and pick it up when you arrive.
The waffle fries are my least favorite item on the menu, but I've never really gone wrong with any of their chicken sandwiches or shakes.
Agreed, the fries are not what I go there for. I usually don’t even order any!
The sandwiches are much better than their fries imo. It may be worth going to even if they look super busy, you’ll be surprised how quick the line moves (especially in the store).
If they do open one, look for the grand opening event. You camp in their parking lot for 24 hours (they have actives and games going on all day) and then you get 52 free meals. I did it at mine last fall, I showed up like 12 hours late but they keep accepting people until they have 100 so I was good. Loving the free food!

Our is in the mall, so its a pain to get so I haven't been in months. I miss living in the south.
Our cities only one has a 20+ car line DAILY (opened a few months ago)
Local gov is blocking an airport location due to their local views. I just want a good chicken sammie, I'll just keep going to Wendys for now but I crave dipping on in that CFA sauce...
