Motion sickness on Smugglers Run

Spoiler

I did Smugglers Run twice and loved it both times. First time I was right pilot and second time left. It was so much fun, I loved it and had a blast. But I got motion sickness both times. I never get nauseous on these types of rides. Some hardcore rollercoasters yes. But never in my life on one do these motion rides. My mom also got nauseous. It wasn’t bad enough for me to say I’m not doing it again. But I don’t know if it was just Because I was in the pilots seat. But I was wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing. Or am I just getting old?

I usually have motion issue on thrill rides, but no problem in the left pilot seat, and yes, it was a blast.

I get some Bonine before I go, and I can usually handle Star Tours 4-5 times in a row.

Last visit I did star tours 5 times and no issues. This was a completely different beast. I’m thinking maybe it had something to do with controlling the up and down and the ship going left or right with out me know which way it was going. I don’t know it was weird.

Does it have a single rider line?

Yes, it does. You'll miss some of the story set up that way.

Thanks! I don’t really mind, I’m not really a Star Wars fan.

Yes. Single riders would have helped us the second time. We ran with out engineers.

It’s better when you’re in the Engineer chair, for some reason. I get really queasy when I pilot. (Also I might be a terrible pilot LOL)

I got a little nauseous in the gunner seat. Kind of chalked it up to drinks from the cantina though - maybe not!
