My wife and I want new floors but don’t want to pay the insane price to have someone install them. I’m a stay at home dad. Her dad lives 2 miles up the street and is between jobs. We are thinking we can knock out the first floor of our home. Roughly 1400 sq ourselves. My father in-law is very competent in home renovation and building fixing things in general. But has never done floors. I have helped lay tile down before but never laminate. Also I was more the grunt. They told me what to do and I did it. I wouldn’t know where to begin in any of this. We know we can do the demo. We have carpet and tile walkways. But it’s the rest we are worried about. How big is the learning curve on something
