Dead & Company were among the top 5 touring acts ($-wise) in the U.S. last year, so when can we expect a formal release?

I'm thinking a fully mastered compilation of live tracks like Without a Net. Bob and John have separately made it clear that they're in this for the long haul and Bob has made sporadic mention of going into the studio. Are they contractually stuck with Nugs or can they release something along these lines? Because I really don't see how an official release (even exclusively through Dead.net) wouldn't sell well and at least broaden their fanbase. The amount of people that have no idea John Mayer and members of the Dead are together is staggering. I feel like a traditional release would further legitimize Dead & Company. Thoughts/theories?
