Crashes in specific areas
So I'm having problems with specific areas of the game: Shisui dungeon and certain specific floors of Heaven-on-High. (And possibly other places I haven't discovered yet.) The game crashes every 10-30 seconds. No error message, just crash to desktop. It makes these dungeons essentially unplayable.
Also, possibly unrelated, I have a bunch of these mysterious lines in the Kugane floor texture.
Sounds like it's just corrupt files, right? But I can't seem to fix it! In no particular order:
- I've reinstalled the game. Multiple times.
- I've reinstalled Windows 10.
- I've lowered my graphics settings to minimum.
- I've disabled DirectX 11.
- I've updated my graphics driver (I'm running a GeForce 980).
No change.
The problem started sometime in the last... three months maybe? I haven't been having problems in other games, but honestly I haven't been playing anything else with complex graphics lately, so I can't rule out the possibility of a system issue.
What's the next step?

Undo any overclocking if you have them and try running another game to see if you encounter similar issues. It could just be artefact bugs caused overheating causing the cable/driver to fail, check your temps. Sometimes the culprit, Reseat the gpu and ram as it could just be slightly misaligned. If this is happening with other games you'll have to ask over on a tech forum for more direct help.
