I spent a lot of time today doing the tribute hall triumphs and spent a hell of a lot of shards, materials and bright dust. The result? Not worth it. I barely noticed a difference in the duration of String of Curses. I feel like this was just a way to get us to sink our materials into something before Shadowkeep.

Eh I'd say the ability to generate orbs with it on top of it's super regen is worth it alone. And what did you really expect? It does about the same thing a Rampage Spec does for Rampage.
The orb generation is pretty sweet but no more than any ad- clearing masterworked weapon. I just hoped the effect of the catalyst would be a bit more noticeable. I had to check I'd read the description right when I tried it out.
1.5 seconds in the heat of battle is HUGE. If you've ever used rampage spec, you know just how good this catalyst is
Yeah I’m just going to slowly do the bounties and tributes over time till I have to 80% discount and then complete it. Bad juju seems great but not essential for any current content right now.
it adds like 2sec right ? which make it like rampage spec now ... a bit underwhelming for sure but 4-6sec of curses is pretty damn awesome .
Is it 2 seconds? That seems pretty significant to me. Thats the same as Recluse then and it's definitely noticeable compared to rampage.
How many kills did u hv to do to upgrade the catalyst??? (Also any fast way to get it done quickly)
Catalyst is for 45 triumphs.

I don't understand what was the rush of completing this. Not only did you spend a lot of materials, you also have no other triumphs to do, so you're gonna get bored. I would've just waited for the price drop.
I mean I completed it and I didn't rush anything... When menagerie dropped I decided to stockpile 2000 of each material so I could always have enough glimmer for the chests.
It wasn't any work at all to just go back and forth between the tribute hall and spider. and even if it was, are you suggesting that he should artificially lengthen his own grind by being less efficient??
I just don't understand that at all.
I only really get to play Tuesdays and Wednesdays now and ive still got a whole bunch of other stuff ive not done yet
