Could have bought 2 decent used rifles for that from Tradex. I like Mosins but that is a travesty.

Take the scope off, sell it for whatever you can get (doesn't look brand name from here), get a solid scout-style scope with a long eye relief.
Toss that second rail monstrosity mount to the first rail attached to the rear sight/stock - that's your best bet and should be fine for holding zero. The bolt looks like an ATI bent bolt which is good.
I wouldn't say $750 was a rip off, but it wasn't a great price. It'll be a decent boom stick but don't expect to get 1MOA.
I have a decent Mosin I put some work into - bent the bolt, polished the internals, put in a cheap Monte Carlo style polymer stock, and I have a cantilever mount on there. Eye relief isn't the greatest but I'm not getting scope eye either. Shoots under 2MOA any day.

That stock has an adjustable cheek riser that goes pretty high; it might be alright to get a cheek weld on it.

I like it. Same as my Mosin same stock and bent bolt mod. But my barrel isn't that long. And doesn't have that large muzzle break.
I also have a different (worse) rail and it doesn't go back that far so I got a scout scope.
It's a good scope but my rail kind of sucks I feel like it pulls to the right.

Hopefully that scope and bipod are worth something cause 750 for a bubba'd Mosin is way too much.

You can see the round cocking knob/safety at the back of the bolt. It looks Like the original bolt handle has been removed and replaced with something to allow for it to clear the scope mount.
Its been bubba'd beyond anything I've ever seen.
