Problem with ender 3 belt(?)

I have the same issue sometimes, it's not the belt problem but mostly loose connection to the X stepper motor.

I've changed to a new one because it started happening more often to me. Try to rotate stepper 90° to the right, so the plug to the stepper is on the left rather than hanging loose.

You can try to move the cable connection to the stepper and see that it will start to move (be careful doing this) If this won't help, check if the cable is also well connected on the board

Yup, it was the same noise. I came with the idea. Try reconnect X stepper motor cable with Z or Y and try to move both axis. If the Z/Y stepper won't move, and X axis will eventually move after that switch, the problem will be the cable. I've tried that, and I managed to find issue. You should try this, because if the belt and pulley are all right, problem might be with connection

Confirmed: Driver issue.

Not sure what the issue is. Tried adjusting the eccentric nuts and the tension, totally took it off and put it back on, nothing works.

The x axis seems to move fine during an auto home, if a bit loud, but during any of my prints it seems to never move along the x axis. Giving it a little nudge while it's making noise it starts to move, almost like it simply doesn't have enough torque? Still lost on how to fix it.

The only thing that moves the X axis is the belt, try to tighten it. If you remove the right end pulley a bit and move it as far out as possible while keeping it under the belt that should fix it.

Or the nuts are too loose, although I'm not sure if that would cause that.

As I said in my comment, I've already tried adjusting the tension bearing both tighter and looser, doesn't seem to be the cause.

Can you move the X with the control panel? Maybe it's your slicer.

That's what someone else just suggested in a discord, gonna try that when I run home for lunch (2 hrs after this comment posts)

Update, seems my x-axis is only moving half the distance it's supposed to

Huh, is your PSU on the right voltage? My only guess is that it is getting half the voltage it needs so maybe your psu is set to 240V?

That's not the issue. If you're at 95 then go to 200 or whatever, you're only getting =200-95=105.

Why was the X homed at 95 is the question. Start the head all the way to the left. Put the screen to zero, then try moving the head. that will give you an idea of how far the head can go.

EDIT: going back now, it does sounds like hell though.
