Between Huggies size 4 and 5 - other brand suggestions?

We've been using Huggies Little Mover Slip ons and until recently they fit great - no leaks. My son had a few blowouts in size 4 so we went up to 5. But now they're too wide between his legs so there is a gap, and that's cause a few leaks through the gap.

Does anyone have any suggestions for brands that run a little bigger or smaller than Huggies?

Thanks!

I really like the Rascal & Friends diapers from Walmart. Their sizing is a little different and I find they’re more absorbent.

Seconding this! They’re amazing! My daughter blew out of every size of Huggies and Pampere, and hasn’t had a single blow out since I switched her to Rascal & Friends!!

I don't know if avoiding blowouts completely is feasible. We're where you are too. Our son is a bit too big for size 4 (no matter what the stupid weight range says on the box), but size 5 is a bit too big. We're just hanging in there with size 4. It just means we need to watch a bit closer to make sure we're changing him. We've had the odd blowout but I honestly haven't found any difference between the fit with Huggies and Pampers. I see another poster suggested Rascal and Friends and I know a mom friend of mine swears by those so I think that's a good suggestion.

The Pampers Pure fit a little bigger than others Pampers. When my daughter was between size 1 and 2 they were perfect.

Try the KIRKLAND brand diapers from Costco! I find them perfect for the in between period with my buggies!

I find that Pampers run smaller than Huggies. I normally used Pampers swaddlers and have used Huggies when she is between sizes in Pampers.
