Imported audio files are automatically copied to the project folder
When I import some acapella stems they automatically get copied to the Media folder and get the little green R icon in the Pool.
Why is this and is there any way to turn it off? It only seems to happen to certain files and not every sample that I drag in.

R icon is for audio that has been recorded or bounced. When you import audio it does not put it in the session folder until you collect all samples and save.
Ah, but that's exactly what it does though.
I'm not at the computer right now but I'm thinking it might be because they're mp3 files. Like Studio One can't handle mp3 files and therefore converts them to WAVs and puts them in the project folder. I don't know.
