Thoughts on Alliances: A Trick of Light

Book Discussion

Has anyone listened to the Stan Lee project Alliances: A Trick of Light? Audible is pushing it pretty hard and I'm curious if it's as good as they say.

I know I’m reviving a dead thread, but I’m about 50% through and enjoying it so far. Part teen romance drama, part super-power origin story, a dash of intergalactic bounty hunting... not to mention the great non-verbal audio sound bites thrown in. I’ve actually been looking forward to the drive to work to listen to it.

Nice! I really appreciate the reply. I was wondering if anyone had given it a go yet.

No prob. I will say it is a bit predictable in parts, but in a good way. Like several times I’ve thought “it seems like they are foreshadowing doing this cool thing” and then I was right, they do the cool thing. Lol

That turns some people off, but I liked being proven right.

I read it. Quickly. It is really good. Relatable character and unexpected plot twists. Someone else needs to read it because I need to ask someone about one part I'm confused about
