Yup. Enough with the "it's gone irl!" nonsense. Thank you.
I hope people wake up and stop praising Netflix for their "genius move" (as I've read more than once), and realize the show is canceled and we need to whatever we can to maybe, just maybe, bring it back in some form. (See the Sense8 finale for an example of what we might have to hope for.)

I wasn't going all in until I got something clear out of Netflix first. I finally got that today. So now my focus is on making noise and getting their content department to listen. I hope everyone on the forum and signing petitions and social media will take that link and run with it.
My impression from that conversation was that she refrained from saying outright it's been cancelled...she always phrased it as it has not been renewed or it doesn't appear that it's being renewed and immediately after she said it she directed me right back to the link she emailed me and again (several times) said that this is the way to do it, this goes to the right department, their content team and they decide what gets renewed or not. She also disclaimered it with she can't guarantee they will renew it but if there appears to be enough support they want to see it.

Thank you! We can all fill out on multiple devices and have friends and family members fill it out as well, maybe we can get that form filled at least 100,000 times. I wonder if I fill it out multiple times on the same device, do they know? I’m not logged into Netflix.
Editing to add: I think another effective way to get their attention is to cancel Netflix and give the reason of “The OA cancellation”

I did that yesterday but it was worth it. I spammed the hell out of that three suggestions thing so I'll hold of doing it again for awhile. The rest is up to you guys to jump in.
Also - binge watch The OA on repeat and get people watching it too. Make up shit, tell them it's a game, they gotta watch to help figure it out - just so long as they watch. That will also help, obviously ;p

To everyone saying they’re requesting the show a ton of times, Netflix says this on doing this: “What if I've already submitted a request for a title? — If you've already submitted a request for a title, you can sit back and relax - we've received your feedback and there's nothing more for you to do. We keep track of all requests from our members, so there's no need to request a title more than once.”
So sending multiple submissions does not add to their numbers on people requesting the show, it will only show as your account requesting it once, and it will not help! Just an FYI

If you don't need to be logged in, Netflix can tell either by browser cookies or they log your IP address. or both. So delete browser cookies, restart router or mask your IP, and you can vote again!

I'm sorry but wasn't there a post here from one f the writers of the oa telling everyone it was really cancelled? Why do people keep thinking its not!

It's a fan theory with some compelling evidence. For example, Brit hit her head and was injured in the other dimension at the end of season 2 which might have caused cancellation, and since dimensions influence each other, The OA was also cancelled in this dimension.

You guys do realize we have the power, and our only move is to cancel our netflix account as a whole!

Can the Change.org petition send out anything to those that have already signed it to tell them to also fill out the Netflix form suggesting new Parts or Chapters to Netflix? Would be a good way to reach 40K people directly. At least update the petition message at the bottom to suggest the Netflix form also.

I submitted 4 times with different wording each time switching between numbers or Roman numerals and the word season and part.

Oh it’s all just a rollercoaster now... so many different responses.
I’ll continue to fill in that form! The social media campaigns are still a good thing and worth the time - if anything, it raises awareness to people who have not yet watched and may also eventually suggest titles via that link. :)

The people you have to convince are Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer, and Cindy Holland.
They've also hired a lot of new people according to a deadline article...people need to do some research. If they are restructuring the content strategies this is to give the new people space (and budget) for all the new projects they announced.
Second, people should be hitting up their marketing VP's, not some customer service call centers. Find the names, find the way Netflix creates employee emails. If you're not contacting VP's directly you aren't talking to anyone who has decision making power.
Finally, there's a possibility Brit and Zal are still under contract with Netflix to bring projects to them. Other projects.
