Rule #6: No Picture/Screenshot

Posting a post with any picture or screenshot will get automatically removed. 99% of these posts are really spam, which mostly consist of Shiny, 0-100% IV, Shadow, and/or Purified Pokemon. No one wants to see "Look at me, I got a Shiny 100 IV Pokemon" picture post.

If your picture post is not spam, I will approve your post, so it can be seen by everyone. You must include a Post Link in your Direct Message to me. Please be patience, I'm not on 24/7 to approve them right away.

You need to Direct Message me with your post link is because spam posts are automatically removed and go straight into the spam folder. The spam folder only shows 10 recently removed posts and anything removed before that cannot be seen. If you do not include a Post Link within your Direct Message to me, I will ignore your Direct Message.

  • Green check mark on a post means a Moderator approved the post and will get unremoved/undeleted if it was auto-removed. Everyone will be able to see and reply to it.
  • Lock symbol means the post is locked/closed for replying. No one can comment unless they are a Moderator. This is to stop people from breaking Rule #1: Negativity or Anti-Spoofism.

Examples of picture posts I will approve:

  1. Infographics
  2. PoGo events
  3. Lure Parties
  4. Discord group

Thank you mod. Frankly I was getting tired of the shiny and other pokemon screenshots. If I wanted to see that, I would just look at my local group's FB page, it's 90% of what they post nowadays.

Good change. I know how happy people get when they get a shiny, I do too, but people on the internet don't care about your fortune. Tell your friends or family, and if they don't care, then find better friends. But Reddit isn't your friend.

Nice update to the rules.

Now, only if people made use of the search tool for the nest and hot spot coords.

How about a Lure Party megathread? Since those seem to pop up multiple times a day.

And then stickying on that megathread that lures do not impact nest spawns so people aren't confused/misled on how lures actually impact lure parties.

An automod comment (re: nest spawns) on each lure party post might be a helpful alternative as well.
