1 liter isn't enough. At least 3 litres is the recommended amount for most adults

That amount can put too much strain on your kidneys if you don't work out or live in a very hot area. 6 litres is the maximum amount for you even if you work out.

It's not too late to start losing weight buddy. I'll give you some words of encouragement (though your mileage might differ). I used to weigh 100 kilograms! I was obese af and i couldn't run up the stairs with hyperventilating, i said fuck this shit and started to cut all types of sugar but i didn't follow a diet or exercised. I lost 22 kilograms in the span of 10 months.

is it actually drink though? because you get a lot of water in you through your food aswell. If i'm drinking more than a litre a day i'm rushing to the toilet all the time

do you have a single fact to back that up

Yes. I weigh 80 kilograms and I'm 179cm tall, according to this website (and many others I've visited) i should get close to 5 litres even though i don't exercise at all

that's not peer reviewed evidence buddy boy

Williams, et. al. (48) reported that estimates of mean water intake rates reported in the literature range from 1.04 to 1.63 L/person/day.
