With Italy getting its makeover sometime in the next decade I am most excited for Red Italy and its paths. What excites me the most about Red Italy is just the notion of the huge shift in politics it causes for the while world and specifically Europe. I have a few questions I wanted to throw around about the hypothetical situation in Europe and get opinions on.

How is each German leader going to react to a newly formed communist power right on its border? I know war is most likely, but how will the wars and state after play out if it is a stalemate or a victory for either side?

What does it mean for other socalist movements across Europe now that a former major power has shifted its leanin

I take a position that the GAW is the largest defining conflict of the 20th century in TNO. The showdown of Asian nations will define the future of several potential economic and military leaders in the world. China is in the position to leap forward alongside or even surpass the US and Germany as the economic giant of the world while Japan can fully solidify its hegemony and (involuntary) partnerships with the rest of the Asian-Pacific world and keep its place as the third world power in the Cold War. In TNO, Japan and China cannot be separate world powers, either one of them is or the other isn't.

Each side has a ton to loose in this conflict and can have a abundance or deficit of allianc

I've been a bit plugged away from TNO for around two months now and recently I've been trying to keep up on lore changes and upcoming developments.

So from my understanding, the US is getting a change in its lore and its overall political landscape at game start. From what I've gathered the Republicans and Democrats are now back to their OTL ideological placings with new potential candidates in the elections. The RD's are still a coalition but now unclude each parties otliers like Neocons and Dixiecrats. The NPP on the other hand is devolving from a actually political party into a pact mostly made up of populists and pro-war voices.

My main question is mainly on how the NPP is going to de

Even if the GAW ends in a pro-Japanese ceasefire, can Japan even maintain the faction, let alone its Empire without China? It looks like they need to win outright if they want any chance of keeping a global presence. It really sets up Germany and the US (or just the US because Germany will most likely collapse again if they don't choose Speer) to be the world's hegemons more often than not.

If they gained other members like Iran, Italy, or even a friendly Russia, would that be enough to have the CPS stay intact, or is it destined to fail without outright victory in the Cold War?

I know we all have our own headcannons and predictions so what do you think is potentially the most interesting path for the entire world to take that sets up the globe for a politically tense and dynamic 21st century?

Personally, I've always seen Speer's victory over the GO4 as the more interesting setup for the next century that cements Germanys place in the world and alters Nazism into a terrifyingly efficient monster. How the U.S. and Japan react to this new foe would be an entertaining look into an alternate 21st century.

What do you think?
