POTS *and* low on norepinephrine
So I’m in a terrible double bind: I have POTS secondary to hEDS, and I also have neuropathic pain caused by low norepinephrine. Unfortunately the neuropathic pain wakes me several times a night, or I would just ignore it, since it isn’t that bad compared to many other pain problems I’ve experienced.
I am trying various tricyclic antidepressants to raise my norepinephrine enough that I can sleep without being woken by the pain. Raising my norepinephrine does stop the pain, but unsurprisingly it is making my POTS worse. Has anyone else dealt with a similar catch-22 and/or have any advice? Thanks in advance!

Who told you it was caused by low norepinephrine?
Two different GI docs, one of whom has a lot of EDS patients. Also the pain went away when I took a norepinephrine increasing drug. It make sense, I only get it when I’m sleeping, when norepinephrine is lowest.
