Took my dogs camping for the first time earlier this summer. They're chihuahua-terriers. My young pup (3yo) was overwhelmed but enjoyed himself. My old lady pup (15yo) on the other hand kept disappearing to go walking alone in the woods. She can barely make it up and down stairs but she was moving around in the woods like she was a couple months old.
