How the hell do you play in this format.

You have to find a middle ground if you going for a go second deck. Means you have to out either both in the deck. If you going to play best of one, good luck to you, the format there is alot different. If you play best of three you have your side deck as backup
Yeah the problem is I go into a bo3 and the moment these assholes see a Nibiru or Red Reboot dropped on their stupid lock they ragequit. Means I can't meaningfully test my deck because game 1 is a loss because I can't out the lock, then game 2 I draw the counter and they just quit before I get a chance to test.
Since i play many different deck and only endymion as tier 1 deck (no guardragon version), if you like we can playtest next week once i got home back from work
Lmao i love this post
I love you
I donno, i love this format, tons of variety, and nothing particularly OP (except dragon link, fuck that deck).
Well, which deck are you using?
Blue-eyes dark magician magnet warriors BA Shaddoll Nekroz with a small Orcust, Danger and Sky Striker engine that ends on a board of Colossus, Naturia Exterio and Appolousa with mask of retrist and royal decree set 8)
& Knuckles
I will show you de wae my queen

All in one deck? Would like to see the decklist cuz i cannot imagine it works lol
No is my top secret list for Worlds
Good luck
He makes a perfectly good point it sounds like you are playing single matches on Ygopro. The game can be played quickly with single matches and that's a nice feature of the program but the game is structured around playing best of 3 and using a side deck to adjust your deck in games 2 and 3.
I also understand that on YgoPro there is alot more rogue compared to the Meta decks but your main deck should be standardized you shouldn't need to keep changing it after each game that's what the side deck is for. If you are playing singles with no side decking it doesnt matter how good your main deck is whether you built it yourself or copied a top cut deck from online you will lose to random brick FTK's flood gates or mine burn.
I feel you, man.

-> Start first
But I can't do the big damage daddy
That’s why I quit shortly after inzektors was nerfed (I never played them myself so it wasn’t about being salty), I saw the direction the game was going and didn’t like it, it was speeding up and becoming all about chains to win. Before it was about wearing down your opponent while trying to trap them or setting up your big play. I loved the slower back and forth style better.
IMO my main complaint is that everyone praises diverse formats like this but it just makes it so hard to actually optimise your deck going 2nd when everyone is playing something completely different.
Like it's nice and all we got cards like Reboot and Nibiru but when you can't use both in the main for fear of bricking on at least one of them, then you use neither and try to make do with half as effective cards like Pankratops and Vishuda which only 1 for 1 stuff which isn't enough when you have 6 cards in hand to bait out 6 negates or the floodgates which shut off any further lines of play if you aren't lucky enough to snipe them out of the 5 backrow your opponent has set.
The cards that you listed are all cards that you put in your side deck, not in the main because, as you saw yourself, this doesn‘t work very often.
While I enjoyed reading your post here are some serious tips: When you play a blind second deck here are some options that you can put in your main deck:
All of these go into the side deck:
Don't worry bud it's not a serious post I'm just trying to play some janky shit online and at locals and it's suffocating trying to play through all the anti-meta.
The problem has been there for a long time, it's just exacerbated now. You don't hear about the times some pro loses to macro cosmos round 1 of a YCS , but these things happen. If you're playing in a regionals or lower, anything can happen.
Very unpopular opinion... but I like one/two-deck formats way more than diverse formats. People praise diverse formats because the decks are generally cheaper, but as you mentioned... it is more unpredictable and causes W/L rates to be drastically biased.
One/Two Deck formats are more consistent and allow for good players to standout.
Dark ruler no more and super poly are great going second tool where i find super poly is more of a side deck card, hand traps are important like last few years.
But overall i got your point and agree with you. I like slower pasted meta. Where nowdays...
Summon, effect,' search,sp summon, effect, link,'effect, summon, effect till you slap your whole deck and extra deck into the field.

best of 1 is not how the game is played, learn to side deck
who the hell actually does 2 out of 3 in ygopro
75% of my matches are just singles
Same here imo
