“Confronted” my NDad

[Progress]

After a lot of thought, therapy, and help from my girlfriend, I felt I was ready to talk to my family about my upbringing. I determined that I needed to approach this from a place of understanding, I spoke to him, my mom, and my sister in our childhood living room. I explained my journey to shed the Narcissistic lessons and grooming I was subjected to, and then asked my father, if he wanted us to have a real relationship, to seek the same help I did, and that I would help, if he wanted, and that I still love him. He tells me he doesn’t remember my childhood that way. He then attempted to use a past emotional moment (one he’s used before, despite changing many details) with some new details added. I calmly let him know that wasn’t what happened, and please answer my question. He asks if he will be getting his drill back. I said of course. He says then that I have his answer (no). Mom and sister are crying, and I’m trying to comfort them, telling them I love them very much, that this isn’t the end of anything, and to call or visit me, that same day, or anytime, for any reason. The whole time dad just sat in his chair, smiling away. If I wasn’t sure about him being NPD before, I am now. Still not sure if it was the right call. Feeling a lot of guilt.
