Fuck me, am I right?
Came into today at 11am and finished 16 shoe repacks. Was feeling pretty damn good about my day since most of that was backstock and I had been able to zone while I put everything that I could out on to the floor.
Then my TL told me that there was an entire pallet of shoe freight that had been hiding in receiving. I only have an hour left of my shift and she seriously expects me to put everything out and backstock the stuff I have to. That's just impossible. My mydevice died as I was back stocking so I decided I would take my 15 now since I gotta go back there anyway. But by the time I get down with the 3 tier I left back there it'll be time to go.
Texted my boyfriend to have a cold beer in the fridge for me when I get home so I can drink and stuff my face full of pasta. I seriously just want this day to end.

There’s a shoe transition, that’s why there’s so much. Your TL should have planned for it so you aren’t swamped in shoes all by yourself.

I believe I'm scheduled in IHP tomorrow so I hopefully wont be over there! But yeah she should have scheduled better. But that would require management at my store to actually care.
We’ve pushed four pallets of shoes at my store between Sunday and today. And we still have three to go!
