Chicago

I’m not organizing a Chicago protest.

However I am posting some important information here for anyone who wants to take this on:

If the protest is going to take part on public roadways you will need to fill out an application to the department of transportation:

https://www.chicago.gov/content/dam/city/depts/cdot/permit/general/2016_Public_Assembly_Notification.pdf

this is not a permit. This is an application

Also, I quickly browsed the ACLU information pdf about protesting in Chicago, there are some rules and other regulations that need to be adhered to in order to be deemed a “legal” assembly.
