Having Issue with Strava Sync on GW 42mm. Wonder if anyone else has. Or, does anyone use Samsung Health's run tracking to sync to Strava? Bonus: Separate question regarding HR accuracy
Appreciate any help. Last night, my run, tracked by Strava on my GW 42mm did not sync across to my phone. I expected to be able to go into the Strava watch app and manually start the sync, but that option is not appearing. This is not the first time a run has not sync'd. I had to enter a manual activity into Strava, which loses the HR data and some specificity (100th of a mile, seconds, etc. - not a huge deal but accuracy is good for tracking things).
If this is an ongoing bug, my alternative choice would be to track with Samsung Health, which can also integrate with Strava. Has anyone tracks runs (or cycling, etc) this way successfully? Are you happy with it?
I have restarted, and I'm using the latest OS version and app version.
Bonus question: Last night, I was on an easy short run. I was well within a pace where I could have a conversation and breath with my mouth closed. Yet, Strava was telling me that my HR was hovering around 160, which should be considerably more effort. I thought I noticed before that once my data sync'd to my phone, the average HR was much lower than what I saw while running. Anyone seen this type of inaccuracy? I was hoping to see the problem again last night, but without the sync, the potentially "corrected" HR never showed up.

I've had issues like this before but the latest updates to Strava app on GW fixed this. It syncs automatically and also has option for manual sync .
See, I've used the manual sync before, but now it isn't showing. This made me think that he manual sync is only available until it does the sync, then it removes it. Maybe there was a freak transfer problem.
