I have a 2016 JKU, that I use on roads, dirt, and beaches - not serious off-roading. Current tires are 255/70R18, measuring 32" but installed, measure at 31". None of my use requires significant clearance. I have young kids who would be served well by an easier climb into the Jeep. My only other major concern is wet traction due to heavy Florida rains.
I'm considering going smaller, but I want to know how small I can go without looking silly. The JKU stock came with smaller diameters down to 28.5", unless I'm mistaken, but that was with 16" wheels.
I've been considering 265/60R18 (30.5x10.4R18). The other option would be to buy someone's take-offs that come on 17" wheels. The 17" wa

Somehow my family decided to do one last week, and they followed a standard recipe with corn and potatoes. That's nice, but it really left my wife and I with very little we wanted to eat. They started talking about doing it again next weekend. Looking to crowd source some good ideas for what would hold up well to a boil.
My ideas so far:
- Mushrooms - I've seen this included before, so it seems like a no brainer. Few more carbs than ideal, but I think everyone will love it.
- Turnips - these seem like the most likely potato replacement (at 3x the cost), but may have to skip as they might not be distinguishable from potatoes afterwards.
Does anyone have experience with this or any sugg
My twin 17mo fraternal boys, who could not look more different, are at a small pre-school that goes through Pre-K. They started there in August, and we'd like to have them there for several years. We just got a call from the school director asking if we'd be interested in moving one to another class. This would be reversible, as they won't be filling the slot in the original class. Also, in the fall, they can either continue in separate classes or be in the same class once again.
The current class size will be 9 (with both of ours), with a teacher we really like. Their second class at this age is slightly older (~3mo), so they want to move Ted, who has more advanced motor skills and
I have a big thing of this jam, but we rarely ate jam even before lowering our sugar intake. So, it's getting old. This seems like the perfect use for some. But, how much to use might be different. Do I heat it first to make it runny? Anything else that might be helpful?

Quick background: I started running for the first time around 18 months ago. I quickly found barefoot running, and decided it was for me during my C25K program. I only ran for about 3 months before my twins were born, which gave me a year of very inconsistent runs (like 1-2 per month). I'm now trying to get back into regular running, with a goal race in mind (15k in March).
So I need to build back up, since I've virtually done nothing for a year since being a beginner. Last night, I was doing a easy run, 2-3mi. All is going as expected, with a little added knee pain from some poor posture decisions at work. But, I read a little more about form yesterday, and I was thinking about th
Appreciate any help. Last night, my run, tracked by Strava on my GW 42mm did not sync across to my phone. I expected to be able to go into the Strava watch app and manually start the sync, but that option is not appearing. This is not the first time a run has not sync'd. I had to enter a manual activity into Strava, which loses the HR data and some specificity (100th of a mile, seconds, etc. - not a huge deal but accuracy is good for tracking things).
If this is an ongoing bug, my alternative choice would be to track with Samsung Health, which can also integrate with Strava. Has anyone tracks runs (or cycling, etc) this way successfully? Are you happy with it?
I have restarted, and I
