Mactera Spawn are the most dangerous enemy in the game at this point, after they tweaked their damage, and Mactera Plague is one of the nastiest modifiers you can get for a mission.

Sometimes they just hover and it's only kinda of a big problem, but sometimes they go Neo from the Matrix and unless you have a weapon that just spews damage you're doubly screwed.

Mactera are more terrifying than bulk detonators at this point. I feel like their HP should be nerfed if the devs want to keep their lethality. Its just too hard to kill them with most weapons before you get blasted by a volley from them.
Yeah, they should definitely be one-shotted by stronger weapons even on higher hazards
I think you can one shot them with the gunner pistol
