Chocolate. Of all the things which would seal our doom, of course it was that damned, delicious, amazing chocolate.

It took us a long time to make first contact, by which time we had developed the warp drive, the grav gen, the perfect cup of coffee (to which the former two are often attributed). All of which are the standards of a strong and vibrant spaceborne race. When we met the Av'leh we were overjoyed that we were not alone, that there were others we could share the galaxy with. Through them, we were introduced to a number of other races with whom we traded, fought, and worked with for decades. With whom we discovered that humanity had the lowest psionic potential by a magnitude, much

Hey all,

Been starting work on a hauberk and I've been looking at weaving it from half closed rings, both to speed up construction and get a stronger final product. Unfortunately cant seem to find the damn things anywhere.

Anyone know where to find (preferably flat stamped) closed rings anywhere? I'm using 16 AWG 1/4" so it's relatively small, otherwise I'd consider buying narrow washers in bulk.

I've checked The Ring Lord, and they do have stamped rings, but they're noted to be slightly dished. I'm worried this would affect the final look and feel of the project

Just finished my first playthrough of blood and wine and I had a thought. What if Syanna wasnt lying about her dreams being prophetic, but rather just wasnt clear on what happened in them (and when). Both of the events mentioned, the murder of the brother and the bloody decapitations ended up happening, just a bit differently than originally expected.

My theory is that due to the confusing nature of dreams, she messed up on which brother would end up killing which, and also didnt know that her actions would be the catalyst for it. Her bloody nightmares were the future where Detlaff sends vampires to terrorize Beauclair and the ensuing bloodbath.

So my GF recently got interested in fountain pens and I was thinking of getting her one. Are there any good intro pens and inks which are particularly good for left handed people? My plan so far is to get her a Pilot Metro F (because that's what I started on and have a good feel for it) and Noodler's Q 'ternity because I heard it was quick drying.

Anything else I should look at?

After the new Missile Revamp I decided to get back to designing a submarine worthy of being a flagship. At just under 200k resources, the 10 long range Large Missiles can make quick work of even Kingsteads and cripple Thunderclaps. For faster targets, it has a bank of rapid fire small missiles and a single quad-autocannon turret for the occasional piece of flotsam. It has a similar bank of small torpedoes on the port and starboard flanks, as well as a forward facing medium torpedo array for an extra kick.

Currently unshielded, but I plan on adding more engine power for those. All power current
