Regarding the recent content update relating Expert/Master HDT and potentially the new wave of bosses planed for this year.
I forgot Okada did an interview near/during the first year anniversary in regards to the future of the game; and considering a good number of players are afraid of whats to come and wheter or not they will be left behind some of the questions made feel relevant.

Q: I have a question regarding future content. Since multiplayer content is popular in DL, will the proportion of multiplayer content be increasing in the future?
Okada: Regarding the highest difficulty content that we have now, 4 player co-op challenges have received positive feedback, so we would like to continue working on and improving this aspect as the game's main attraction point for our players.
However, it's not easy to schedules amongst 4 players, so we are also thinking of increasing the amount of single player content.
While we are planning to release more multiplayer content like the current HDTs, we would also like to adjust it such that new players can participate easily.
Q: What kind of adjustments specifically?
Okada: The amount of information available for high difficulty content tends to drop over time, and it then becomes harder to clear the content. We are considering introducing ways to provide the strategy to clear high difficulty content after a certain period of time has passed. In order to minimize the stress to our players, we are thinking of improving the guidance offered to players in order to help them to play the game effectively.
And in regards to Powercreep and 6th mana circle:
Q: Which characters will be receiving the 6th mana circle unlocks?
Okada: Since it's currently still under development, it's not something that I can go into specifics about. However, it would be the characters in the main story and characters that were released in the early stages of the game that we would like to strengthen, and we are planning on introducing them one by one.
From the interview we can make two things apparent: They will increase the amount of singleplayer content (which will hopefull serve a a bridge on the gaps between difficulties) and they will help introduce HDT content to new players. Hopefully November's This month gives more info regarding feedback given to e/mHDT and Time Attacks.

Like you, I’m also hoping they answer so many more questions during the “this month” post.
I’m a bit worried that they may not want our feedback to shape the game anymore. It concerns me because they quickly responded to astral raids feedback on the first weekend, but with eHDT and time attack they’ve remained silent to even louder community uproar.
The only thing I can think about with eHDT is because of the Time Attack
As with Raids and Facility events, any feedback given during those events can’t apply to that current event and will instead apply to newer events if changes are made (in which many have, like multiple blazon summons, skip tickets on bosses, etc)
Astral raids only last two days each and only occur when there is no Raid event, therefore it makes changing it quicker and before the next Astral Raid a lot easier.
So because the eHDTs were attached to the Time Attack, nothing can be done about it. And as in the past, new changes aren’t announced until after the event is over.
So I’m remaining hopeful that they will make changes in the Future. It’s a big thing and they need time to really sit down and think about how to approach changing it.
I can only guess they are trying to hear enough feedback before giving a response in regards to both TA and HDT weapon farming. Japan did got hit by a natural disaster this month not too long ago. At any rate, I can only wait and hope.
I think at this point it should be fairly clear they screwed up the progression on HDT weapons, given this sub is rioting and thats among a population that is likely skewed to the more committed/hardcore segment of the player base.
I’ll keep saying it, drop tails in standard and all your progression problems are solved. Master time trials exist with extra “pull” oriented rewards like wyrmite and sunstones and for those that like dick measuring contests.
1 tail drops in standard and 3 - 4 tail drops in expert. Standard should help people break into the expert hdt loop. But Tier 2 HDT weapon materials should remain in masters as that is the highest of the high gear to struggle to get. It shouldn’t be too easy until later after more progression elements are introduced.
