High School Teacher moving to Vancouver: I have a couple questions about getting a job...

Hey all,

I've been teaching History for 6 years in New Zealand, and have just finalized all the documents due to the BC Teacher Regulation Branch. However, now I have to wait to get my application evaluated in the queue. I have several questions if there are some teachers in the mix who could potentially answer?

1. What is the general wait time for getting your TCQ evaluated? The site said 3 months but I am just trying to get a reality check.
2. What are the chances of getting a job if I go to the Vancouver Job Fair on 17th of Jan 2020 at UBC? Has anyone been to this in the last 2 years?
3. How long do the TQS take to do a salary assessment once you have all the paperwork in?
4. Aside from Make A Future... are there any other ways to get a job?
