Starting on November 6, 2019, we are no longer allowing states. There are only exceptions for harm reduction (see thread).
Hi all.
The mods have decided unanimously to now disallow mentioning of states. You especially may not mention states in dope porn. Anything more specific than a country will result in a warning/ban.
Exceptions include (but are not limited to): Fent warnings, recovery-centered discussions, harm-reduction discussions, news articles, and other related discussions not currently made aware. This is more a case-by-case basis, so there is room for states in appropriate discussions. If you are unsure about something you want to post, please message the mod team.
Thank you all who commented on the original post. I'm grateful to be made aware of ways where states should be necessary for harm reduction, and the exceptions to the rule are because of your input.
Anyway, that's it. Have a great week y'all!

Can we start a specific thread for fent warnings and harm reduction services.
I’ve been carrying Narcan for 3 years and on Saturday I used for the first time. Asked them to give me 30 mins to come back with more before the other person got well.
We’ve been fighting for years to get these resources but I continue to be amazed how many people don’t know/are scared to access them.
I’m a physician and I literally by Narcan in bulk to carry around in my car to pass out, (and many of my colleagues do, as well,) because we treat addicts as nothing but criminals, providers are having to get creative. We want to help, we just need the resources.
Thanks for your understanding and your help. It amazes me how addicts are still vilified by people in the health care industry. I am in recovery now but I remember going to an ER about 5 years ago with an abscess from shooting and the ER doctor made me feel so bad I got up and left.
I know not all healthcare workers are like this because I have had many more positive experiences. My sister is also a trauma surgeon in a level 1 trauma center and also helps educate those that don't understand addiction because of the things both my father and I have been through that she has seen.
I may know your sister, (also trauma at Lvl 1.) Tell her to keep fighting and stay safe.
I am worried for her and all the other health care workers during this time. Thank you for doing what you do and please stay safe. We need people like you guys.
For fent warnings, I would like to keep them separate threads so people can see them more easily. I feel like less people would look through a megathread of fent warnings. People can post/upvote fent warnings as they are reported.
For HR services, r/opiates has a lot in its community tab, including test kits. That would be a good place for anyone to look, and I feel most users here know about that subreddit (it's also in the related communities on the sidebar).
