Didn't think I would make a rookie mistake like this but I did. Seemed to solve the issue. Will leave this thread up for people to troubleshoot from my failures.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the Android SDK Platform-Tools (Fastboot & ADB). You may also think you are using the latest but there could be an outdated version that is installed in your computer that is being called instead of the latest one.

Got the bootloader unlocked. Run flash-all.bat and it throws this error:

So I try just running the command

     fastboot update image-crosshatch-qp1a.191105.003.zip

and get this error:

What am I missing here?
